Paul N. Bontempo, a principal of Martin-Bontempo, has been a contract
lobbyist since 1989. A lifelong resident of New Jersey, Paul has been active
in public life since his youth. He is a graduate of Newark Academy and
the University of Notre Dame. He is a member of the Democratic State Committee,
having first been elected in 1977. Paul also served on the Democratic National
Committee for eight years and was a delegate to four Democratic National
Conventions. A former Chairman of the Morris County Board of Elections,
he currently sits on the New Jersey Division of ABC Advisory Committee.
He has been the government relations representative for Zapata Protein
since 1990 and has worked closely with New Jersey's commercial fishing
industry.
